BriefmarkManual installation
Briefmark targets Chrome, Edge, and Firefox on desktop, and Firefox for Android on mobile. Chrome and Edge are available through the Chrome Web Store. Firefox is available from the signed download below and from Firefox Add-ons when the listing is available.
Download the current approved installer here, then follow the browser-specific instructions. Chrome and Edge share the same public ZIP; Firefox uses its signed XPI.

VERSION is the release number in the filename. GitHub releases are a secondary archive. GitHub’s Source code archives and the firefox-source.zip and firefox-unsigned.zip files are for development or review, not normal installation. Firefox needs a Mozilla-signed .xpi; renaming a ZIP does not make it installable.
Manual installations need manual updates. Follow your browser’s guide below to keep your saved feedback when updating. Briefmark stores feedback in the browser profile where it was collected; it does not sync between browsers or devices.
