Screenshot comments

Use a screenshot comment when the feedback applies to a visual region rather than one selectable element.

  1. Position the page, open More Comment Options beside Select Element, and choose Take Screenshot.
  2. Drag over the region you want to capture. Move the box or drag its corners to adjust it.
  3. Choose Use Screenshot, write your feedback, and save it.

With the keyboard, arrow keys move the box. Focus a corner and use the arrow keys to resize it; hold Shift to move or resize by ten pixels. Cancel or Esc discards the capture. Switching tabs, scrolling, or resizing the viewport during capture also cancels it.

Locate returns to the saved region. Briefmark stores only the cropped PNG, not the full-page capture. PNGs are limited to 2,400 pixels on the longest side and about 2 MB each, subject to browser storage limits.

When you send screenshot feedback to your agent, download the ZIP and attach the matching PNG files separately. Review each crop before sharing because it includes everything visible in the selected region, including form values and embedded frames.
